I faced issues with the check-in process as there was a long wait due to confusion over payment status. The restaurant offered a disappointing menu and took forever to serve food. Additionally, the communication from staff was lacking, making meals frustrating to access.

our stay at sumiya was delightful! the climatized pool was perfect for cooling off. the breakfast buffet was amazing, offering a variety of options. the natural decor in the common areas with all the greenery made everything feel refreshing. plus, it’s just a short drive to the small town of jiutepec, which is a lovely bonus!

I had a lovely stay with beautifully well-kept gardens and enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet on Sunday. The unique Japanese architecture truly added character! However, the food quality otherwise was disappointing, especially the Asian fusion options. I'd come back again simply for the gardens!

Couples escaping to a serene getaway
The grounds here are stunning, really feels like a slice of Zen paradise! ! The Japanese fountain and gardens complete the whole experience, I was lost in the beauty.
Definitely on the pricier side, but still seems acceptable.

Amazing gardens and unforgettable breakfast
The hotel's gardens are breathtakingly beautiful, providing a peaceful sanctuary during my stay. Our room was spacious, bright, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast spread was one of the best I've experienced, with a variety of fresh options that catered to every taste. However, the wifi connectivity was limited to the reception area, which made it difficult to stay connected during my visit.

Great stay with a stunning view!
We had an awesome time here! Our room was super spacious and clean. The views from the balcony were just breathtaking. The pool area was perfect for chillin' out with refreshing cocktails. Only thing was the breakfast service was a bit slow, but the food itself was really good. Just wish it was a little quicker!
